The room offers plenty of floor space with carpet and non-slip vinyl areas. The children have access to a wide range of tabletop, focus led activities and cooking that the staff plan every week for their key children’s needs. They also have access to sand and water play and floor activities.

The children share a secure outside play area with the Oak Trees that offers a mixture of equipment to help develop fine and gross motor skills, and other areas of the EYFS.

They have access to a wooded area located behind the nursery, here they can experience nature and explore their surroundings.

Sleeping

After lunch the Little Oaks children are settled down on individual mats for an afternoon sleep. We will limit sleep if required, but this is something that can be discussed with staff.
